NAP4DIVE at the Lorentz Center!

We are pleased to highlight the participation of our project partners Sepinoud Azimi (Delft University of Technology) and Philip Nickel (Eindhoven University of Technology) in the Lorentz Center workshop “AI-driven Nanoparticle Design for Drug Delivery”, held on 2–6 February 2026 in Leiden.

As one of the scientific organizers, Sepinoud Azimi contributed her expertise in AI-driven models for predicting nanoparticle performance in crossing the blood–brain barrier—work she leads within NAP4DIVE through advanced computational modelling and explainable AI approaches.

Philip Nickel, NAP4DIVE’s ethics lead, brings essential insights on responsible and trustworthy AI in health. His work ensures that emerging nanomedicine tools are aligned with ethical principles and support the project’s mission to reduce animal use in CNS drug development. [tue.nl]

Their contributions at the Lorentz Center reflect the strong interdisciplinary foundations of NAP4DIVE project and our shared vision for innovative, ethical, and human‑centered advances in drug delivery.

👏 A big thank you to the Lorentz Center for fostering such an inspiring environment for collaboration and innovation.
